Summary
Born at Montreal; attended public school in St. Regis Falls, NY 1913-1915, the Institution Catholique des Sourdes-Muets, Montreal 1916-1920, and the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind, 1921-1926. Gallaudet College 1928-1929, but dropped out. Worked at the Louisiana School for the Deaf, then married Arthur Edward Spears. After Spears' 1944 death, remarried in 1946 to Alexander Fleischman.
