Martin, Thad C.

Born at Sacramento, CA; during first grade contracted spinal meningitis and became deaf. Mainstreamed into the same public school, then in El Camino High School, also in Sacramento, where he graduated in 1985. Attended the University of California (BA, 1989, and MFA, 1992). Taught art for 2 semesters at the University of California, Davis, then moved to Austin, TX.
