Maxwell, Vance Thelston

Deaf at 18 months by an ear infection; attended public schools 1946-1955. Became a carpenter and welder. Favorite hobby was shooting; he became an expert marksman, probably Canada's best deaf marksman, winning many trophies and prizes, always against hearing marksmen since there were no Canadian deaf gun clubs.
